About Us
Being out in the country
looking for big cats gives us the opportunity to see and observe other
wildlife and see many of their behaviours and also photograph them.
Please click here to have a look at wildlife we have photographed with our
remote cameras.
All information we receive will be
continually analysed. This will be data related to the actual cats and their
behaviour, no names or locations will be placed on this website.
A big part of our field work
involves the use of remote cameras, on visiting a area we can assess the
landscape and decide the best location to place them. The camera is a
35mm in a waterproof housing with a built in sensor that detects body and
movement, if anything walks past the unit a photograph is taken.
We are two independent big cat
researchers who have many years experience in looking for big cats and the
evidence they leave in the British countryside. We are very
knowledgeable on this subject and on their behaviour. We research in
different parts of the country and we regularly meet up to work together.
Devon and Cornwall, Oxfordshire, North Wales and the Lake District are areas
where we research.
Our website was designed
specifically for anyone who has a sighting of a big cat to be able to report
it to us. By knowing the areas cats have been seen is so helpful to us
and will allow us to build up a picture of the area and this helps a great
deal with our field work.
